The Taste of Rhinebeck food crawl competition returned on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 for its 13th year to benefit Northern Dutchess Hospital.
This walkable trail of culinary delights features restaurants, spirit shops and specialty food retailers. More than 20 venues in the Village of Rhinebeck are expected to participant, giving attends the chance to enjoy a variety of food and drinks, creating a great night out with friends!
Each year, our Taste chefs create plates of delicious fare or a palate-pleasing beverage to win the votes of participants in the categories of best: appetizer, main course, dessert and beverage. See a list of the 2016 winners.
Returning this year, the Ira J. Gutner Hospitality Award will be awarded for the best overall experience in honor of the late owner of Samuel’s of Rhinebeck.
Groups of friends are encouraged to experience the Taste together and discover new favorite places to dine and shop as they stroll the streets of our idyllic village. You won’t go home hungry!
The Taste event is organized by the Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation, which raises money to support the hospital. All proceeds of ticket sales benefit the hospital. At registration, participants will get a map with staggered starting locations, as well as voting materials and their wristbands. Taste winners will be announced here the following day.
